Where the Hamfest Takes Place
The Hamfest is held at the Clarke County Ruritan Fairgrounds in Berryville, Virginia. Berryville is near intersection of VA-7 and US-340, approximately 9 miles east of Winchester, and 30 miles west of Leesburg. The Fairgrounds are located west of the town center on business VA-7.

Driving Directions
Use either of two entry lanes at the west entrance to the fairgrounds. Parking is on the north side of the fairgrounds, with handicap parking available near the grandstand. If needed, on-grounds directions for parking will be provided at ticket sale point. To exit the property safely, follow signs to the east end of the fairgrounds north parking area for access back to business VA-7 / West Main Street..
From Interstate 81
Take exit 315 heading east on VA-7 toward Washington, DC. Go approximately 7.5 miles to the flashing yellow lights. Turn right onto business VA-7. Fairground entrance will be on the left.
From the Capital Beltway (Interstate 495)
Options for coming west towards Berryville include VA-7 west from Tyson’s Corner, VA or use VA-267 (Toll) west all the way to the VA-7 / VA-267 interchange in Leesburg. Follow VA-7 west (towards Winchester) for nearly 28 miles. First Berryville exit takes you through town. Second exit turns left on business VA-7 and takes you more directly to the Fairgrounds on the left.
From Interstate 66 (coming from the East)
I-66 East ends at intersection with I-81. Go north on I-81 and follow instructions above for “From Interstate 81”. There are other routes if you enjoy country roads.
