Your Personal Information

We require the following personal information for the purpose of validating your request received from the Internet as well as retaining the ability to expeditiously contact you following the VE Session for follow-up in the event that our post-session audit process uncovers any discrepancy in that will hold up or impede processing of your licensing application. We do not share your personal information with third parties unless required by law. We retain paper records associated with all VE sessions in a secure container that restricts access to selected VE Team member key holders in an effort to prevent unauthorized access to your personal information retained by the VE team following the VE session. Please note that this information does NOT include copies of NCVEC 605 forms that reveal sensitive personal information such as social security numbers (SSNs) or answers to other questions that should be help private. Those forms are included in the submission package through FedEx or U.S. Mail next day services to the American Radio Relay League Volunteer Examination Coordinator (ARRL VEC) in Newington, Connecticut, for further post-session process and data entry into FCC systems. The maximum amount of information contained in our paper records include your name, address, and call sign (if you had one prior to the session), telephone number and e-mail address. For questions regarding how your personal information is handled at the American Radio Relay League, please reach out to them for answers. FCC-assigned Federal Registration Number – as of May 29, 2021, this parameter is now a mandatory field on all FCC NCVEC 605 applications. We require it here to both vet the name against the FRN as a valid request and to ensure that the canddiate requesting a seat at our session meets the criteria for us to administer them an examination under current FCC mandates.

VE Session Details

NOTE – the current fee for processing an application upon successful fulfillment of the requirements is $15.00 USD. Please be prepared to provide payment at the session prior to taking the exam. Payments in the form of cash, check, or a money order in U.S. currency are accepted. At this time, we DO NOT accept other forms of payment as we are neither authorized nor equipped to process payments electronically. ALSO NOTE – a failure to pass an examination element will require an additional fee of $15.00 USD for another attempt at a different test for the same exam element.

Last Things and Submission of Your Request

Your request for seating at the NSDXA / SVARC VE Session that you have selected above is about to be submitted. Please double-check that you have selected the date you wish to attend and provided all of the required information. Once you submit your request, you should receive an e-mail notification of our system indicating that we have received your request. NOTE – this is NOT confirmation that you are on our list of candidates for that session. The VE Team will then review your submission. and either assign you a confirmation code that can be validated upon arrival at the session or notify you regarding any descrepancies or other reasons we have denied your registration request. The confirmation code will be the assurance that you are successfully registered for the session. Reasons for denial vary but typically are because we have arrived at an unresolvable discrepancy after reaching out to you with questions intended to resolve it, or we have reached the maximum number of candidates that we are able to accomodate at a session.
